Synopsis: Who knows you well? Your best friend? Your boyfriend or girlfriend? A stranger you meet on a crazy night? No one, really?
Mark and Kate have sat next to each other for an entire year, but have never spoken. For whatever reason, their paths outside of class have never crossed.
That is, until Kate spots Mark miles away from home, out in the city for a wild, unexpected night. Kate is lost, having just run away from a chance to finally meet the girl she has been in love with from afar. Mark, meanwhile, is in love with his best friend Ryan, who may or may not feel the same way.
When Kate and Mark meet up, little do they know how important they will become to each other—and how, in a very short time, they will know each other better than any of the people who are supposed to know them more.
Told in alternating points of view by Nina LaCour and David Levithan, You Know Me Well is a story about navigating the joys and heartaches of first love, one truth at a time.

I read this book in the middle of July, but haven’t had time to write a review and I felt as if this book really deserved a review because it was amazing.

I’ve never read a book by Nina LaCour and I’ve only read a few by David Levithan. I didn’t know what to expect when I began this book.

I always love great characters, and Kate and Mark were no exception. Both of them were homosexuals celebrating Pride Week when they cross paths. They click and end up almost inseparable. They turn to each other through ups and downs. It was a really great story about new friendships.

I loved the writing style of this book. It just grasped my attention because it was smooth. Everything flowed from one thing to the next seamlessly. It told a great story in a way that just captured your mind, making you want more of the story and more of these two friends.

You Know Me Well was a really great book about taking leaps of faith. It was about trying new things. It was about making new friends. It was about celebrating who you are. Just read it, and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Don’t wait to write reviews because then you don’t remember a lot about a really good book and you have to do a quickie review that just hits the high points.
