Not exactly a review, more of a discussion. I just needed to get a few things off of my chest about this month aka YouTuber Review Month.

I really don't see it as fair that just because someone is somewhat famous, they should get a book deal. Just because people like you does not mean you have a way with words. The two don't go hand in hand, so I don't understand why we see this so much.

I mean, yeah, some of these books are really good but why should "stars" get special treatment? Just because Kim Kardashian wrote this book doesn't make it automatically amazing. And it doesn't make it complete trash either.

I think some people forget about that point.

Just because a famous persons name is on something does no give you a free will to trash it constantly without giving it a try. It might be good. Or maybe you like it.

This goes to show you can't judge a book by it's cover. Actually, you can't judge a book based off of who's name is on it. Jennifer L. Armentrout may be my favorite author as well as a NYT Bestselling Author, but maybe she writes a horrible book someday. (I'm not saying that she will.) (MAYBE.) You can't say it's good just because So Andso wrote it. You say it's good because it IS GOOD.

As a book blogger, I promise to not take into account author's names whenever I read/review a book. It's not fair to them. It's not fair to you. And it sure as hell ain't fair to me.

We need to stop adding labels to things so we can judge things fairly.

Authors do not matter. Hell, titles do not matter.

The only thing that matters is if it was a good book or not.

So quit judging all of these books because Zoella used a ghostwriter or Tyra Banks wrote this book.

Judge them on whether or not they deserve to be read by the masses.
