A lot of people seem to really not like these books, but I'm at the other end of the spectrum. I liked Girl Online, but Girl Online On Tour was even better.

Personally, I love these books. There cute and a nice refresher from what I typically read. Now, they're not the best contemporary out there but they are fairly good.

First off, I wanted to mention the writing. It has gotten a lot better since the first book. There was a lot more description and everything just seemed to flow more naturally. It wasn't as choppy as the first book which was nice. It doesn't seem as if it was written for such a young audience. Girl Online reminded me of reading a middle grade book. The writing was choppy and just put out there. It didn't connect as much. With Girl Online On Tour, everything was a lot smoother. There weren't as many bumps which made it for an easy and quick read.

These books are cute. If I could describe Zoella with one word, it would be cute. She has a cute blog and YouTube channel with cute designs. She has a make-up line that has super cute packaging. The covers and end sheets of her books are really cute. Her stories are cute.

They are almost your stereotypical teen novel with a dash of anxiety and modern items thrown in. They have a cute love story. It's just a cute story.

I really enjoyed Girl Online On Tour because there was an adventure aspect to it that I absolutely loved. Penny actually left Brighton and went on tour with Noah, hence the title. It was different from anything else I've read. To be honest, it reminded me of fan fiction of of Wattpad. It did remind of 5SOS fan fiction, but the writing was WAY better which was maybe why I liked it.

Penny still had to overcome her anxiety which I will give Sugg props for because she has written anxiety extremely well and very honest. It was real which spoke volumes to me. There was a lot of great advice given, especially for makeup which was Sugg's inner beauty blogger shining through.

The blackmailing aspect really played into the ff aspect. It was stereotypical almost. I mean, of course you're going to get blackmailed when you're dating one of the hottest stars on the planet.

I have to say that this second book really made me dislike Noah. Throughout most of the book I wanted to slap him in the face. Let's just say his a grade-A jerk for most of the novel until he somewhat redeems himself at the end. I still don't like him.

The ending was spectacular. I do want book 3 which I cannot wait for. I really enjoyed this book; they seem to be getting better and better

I recommend this series for summer who is looking for a cute summer read. It doesn't take up a lot of time and the plot flows nicely.

One Last Thing

Book 3 was just announced the other day and I wanted to share it with you. It's called Girl Onling Going Solo. That title really gives nothing away. I, personally cannot wait for it. It releases on November 17, 2016.
