Synopsis: Leaves of the world tree is a collection of six short stories that take place in a wide variety of worlds, with varying degrees of fantasy and technology. The stories are stand-alone, making each is it's own adventure, ranging from a bloody Viking battle to a necromancer love story. There is a tale about a pirate and another about knights. there is even a modern story of a man who never sleeps which explores the benefits and consequences of being forever awake. The collection attempts to explore all that fantasy has to offer, containing fantasy both high and low, urban and medieval.

Leaves of the World Tree is a collection of short stories. I've never read short stories before, and Im glad these are my first ones. Each of these short stories are original and intiguing. They are very easy to read. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them. My favorite short story has got to be Amorphous. This was one of the longer ones, and it dealt with the supernatural. I loved it! It dealt with a shapshafter that didn't know exactly what it was and had no friends, which was kind of sad. Then, it fights a vampire. The fight scene was well-written and just plain awesome. There's something for everyone in this collection of short stories.
