Synopsis: He's her first. He's her everything. He's her . . . stepbrother.
Kat has always been a good girl. She studies hard and never stays out too late. But when sitting in a pub on her birthday, she realizes she's a nineteen-year-old virgin who's never really lived. And she wants tonight to be the night that changes.
Then she sees him walk in. He's tall, dark, handsome, and straight out of her deepest fantasies. His voice makes her knees feel weak, and when he smiles, she imagines him doing wicked things to her in bed. From the look in his eyes, she knows he's imagining it too. So when he asks if he can walk her home, she hears herself whisper yes . . .
*Note to Readers, this is not a first person point of view story.

I received a free copy of this book from Barclay Publicity in exchange for an honest review. This will not affect my decision in any way.

Cover: The cover model is in a very dominant stance which portrays Tristan accurately. I don’t think the outfit suits him though. Other than that it’s pretty good.

Characters: Kat was pretty cool. I liked her and Tristan as a couple.

Can I just say, why does every hot guy ever have to have dark hair? Why not make your hot guy a blonde, or a ginger? I don’t mind the black hair, but every book uses that to portray a strong, dominant male.

Plot: The plot was good. Tristan was always bringing Kat food, and it was making me crave alfredo. Yum. I liked how different this was from anything I’ve read. I always love American leads, since I connect with them. And then throw in a hot British guy and it’s perfect.

Ending
: OMG! The ending was just jaw-dropping, what-just-happened. I mean I knew it was supposed to happen, hence the title, but it’s still outrageous to just think about it. I really want to know what Kat and Tristan are going to do now.

Overall: This was a quick read. It’s not one of those that-was-absolutely-amazing novels, but it was good enough that I would like to read the next one. I would like to get to know more of the characters. I need more Kat and Tristan to see how they handle the situations.
